Security Operations Manager

NEVEC is searching for a Security Operations Manager, reporting to the VP of Security. The successful applicant will perform the following responsibilities:

• Coordinate the Security and Defense Staff of all non-colony facility, laboratory and storage locations.
• Direct the implementation, coordination and evaluation of a comprehensive occupational and environmental safety program.
• Provide support in clearance processing, and visitor and document control in accordance with the NISPOM baseline and NISPOM supplement.
• Conduct investigations of security infractions and perform self-inspections.
• Serve as a courier of classified materials and pharmaceutical agents.
• Develop and implement Information System Security Plans.
• Undergo occasional psychological profiling to verify stability for cryogenic suspension necessary for extensive space flights and colonization.
• Interface with Government clients on behalf of the VP of Security.
• Ability to respond to emergency conditions whether on or off duty.

Basic Qualifications:

• Fluency in Japanese and English required. Applicants willing to receive extensive training in other languages will receive special consideration.
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Security Specialist, member of a specialized military unit or advanced police experience.
• Piloting experience for heavily armored vehicles considered a bonus.
• Knowledge of extensive weapons training and a willingness to receive training for new technologies.
• Strong crisis management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM and NISPOM Supplement
• Current or within scope DoD Top Secret Security clearance with a background investigation current within the past five years.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
